Our mission is to provide quality residential and commercial repairs, renovations, installations and general contracting services while promoting professionalism, dependability and ethical business practices in the handyman field.
The Grand Handyman was started by Bob Costa as a part-time business in 1991 while a manager at Home Depot. Providing professional, dependable and reputable service, with quality work, proved to be the right mix to grow. In 1995, Bob turned the Grand Handyman into a full-time endeavor and soon after incorporated. Since then, The Grand Handyman, Inc. (GHI) customer base has grown rapidly to include a large residential and commercial clientele.
Our staff has grown as well to include office, field personnel and our network of FSPs (Facility Service Partners). All are selectively hired with a minimum of 15 years experience in the residential and commercial repair field and have passed background and reference checks. They are hired and trained to be courteous, dependable, professional and punctual. The GHI Team prides itself on these values knowing it makes a difference to our customers and mission. Our corporate culture and foundation is built upon respect, consideration, customer service and teamwork and are paramount to our daily mission.
Most of our team has been with GHI for over five years, a testament to their dedication to company and clients. We continue to improve our skills and knowledge of ever-changing products and techniques in the commercial and residential field.
